The usual about me text
Hey there, my name is Cata and I’m a web and graphic designer. Long story short my first job was in an Advertising
Production company. There I learned all about posters, stickers, 3d Modelling, simulations and vectorial graphics. Also learned to operate different kind of machinery like plotters (print and vinyl cutting), laser engraving and maintenance.
I loved it, I have worked many times non stop for 48 hours caught in the middle of jobs but that helped me a lot in understanding how the things work.
I had never attended any art schools or training programs - every time something new appeared I was on it learning.
I believe passion is the secret - if you really like something you can do it no matter what.
I discovered the web on dial-up. Later the CSS came and I fell in love instantly. I use Adobe Photoshop mainly for
creating graphics for web, Illustrator and InDesign for vectors and print - yes I know Mr. CMYK and Mr. Bleed,
Coda for HTML and CSS, Flash for banners and animation though I don’t enjoy it much and 3D Max.
Although I have learned to do many things my focus is on layout design and print.
